COVID-19 Guidelines - TTs
Each participant in the activity must be a 2021 OCA Member and a member of the Newmarket Eagles Cycling Club.
Each participant is required to provide a copy of their ONTARIO CYCLING ASSOCIATION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, RELEASE, INDEMNITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK REGARDING to the host club/team (preferably by emailing them the PDF version of the form). This is required only once.
o Adults (18 Years of Age and Older)
o Minors (Under 18 Years of Age)
Clubs members should not participate if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 that they should not be participating in the activity and to get tested and/or self-isolate. Symptoms can include, but are not limited to:
o Fever
o Cough
o Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
o Chills
o Sore Throat or difficulty swallowing
o Lost sense of taste or smell
o Muscle Aches
o Extreme tiredness
o Any other symptoms as identified by health experts and the Ontario Government https://www.ontario.ca/page/covid-19-stop-spread#section-0

TT details

Group A will start at 9 am and Group B will start at 10 am. Group A should depart from the parking area as soon as possible after completion of his or her TT. TT results will not be announced and will be posted to the Eagles website.

Please register by putting your name on the Google sign-up list (TT page). Riders expecting to finish in less than 23 minutes should register for Group A, riders expecting to be above 23 minutes should register for Group B.

To pay send Bob Spencer an e-transfer of $5 to rob_spencer@bell.net. No payment accepted onsite.

Riders should not warm-up on the race course. Either warm-up on side roads or bring a trainer or rollers.

Riders will be spaced out at their start location following the government restrictions on physical distancing (2 metres) at a minimum.

Riders will be departing at one minute increments with the faster riders starting first.

If congregating at a parking lot, riders to arrive no more than 5-10 minutes prior to their estimated start time.
